Popular presenter, comedian, Master of Ceremonies and producer, Ochuko Derek Omiragwa, better known as Chief Ochuko, is on the move again with fresh projects aimed at expanding Nigeria’s entertainment space.
For the past eight years, he has been the driving force behind Port Harcourt Entertainment Nite, a comedy and music platform dedicated to spotlighting upcoming creative talents.

An award-winning TV personality, Chief Ochuko won the Garden City Advancement Award (GACA) 2019 for TV Personality of the Year, and was also nominated by the Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (BON) 2023 in the same category.
In recent times, the entertainer has been shuttling between the United Kingdom and Nigeria ahead of an international event designed to strengthen entertainment collaborations between the two countries.
He is also working assiduously on the launch of his new podcast, ‘The Hangout’, which he says promises to bring a fresh and unique conversation style to the Nigerian podcast scene.
With his track record in comedy, broadcasting and event production, Chief Ochuko says the new venture will further connect talents, audiences and opportunities across borders.
