Anambra-born businessman, serial entrepreneur, real estate investor , uncommon philanthropist, and Chief Executive Officer of Oxford Gardens Ltd—Chief Obiorah Iwuchukwu (Amuluonyenego)—has joined family members, friends, business associates, admirers and the wider Anambra business community in celebrating High Chief Sir (Dr.) Amb. Anthony Ikenna Obele (Okwunze Aguata)— following his emergence as Business Icon of the Year at the 5th Edition of the Anambra Man of the Year (AMTY) Awards.

In a goodwill message he made available to the Publisher of 4th Estate Reporters— Njoku Macdonald Obinna—Chief Iwuchukwu described Obele as a visionary entrepreneur, accomplished industrialist, philanthropist and community builder whose remarkable journey in business continues to inspire a generation of young entrepreneurs across Nigeria. According to him, the recognition is a fitting tribute to a man whose footprints are visible across strategic sectors of the economy; including: oil and gas, real estate, road construction, hospitality, logistics, and maritime , where he has built enduring enterprises while creating opportunities for countless individuals and families.
The Oxford Gardens Chairman , Iwuchukwu, noted that beyond his impressive business accomplishments, Okwunze Aguata has distinguished himself through his unwavering commitment to community development and humanitarian services. He referenced Obele’s contributions to infrastructure development, youth empowerment, support for small businesses and community-focused projects across Anambra State, describing him as one of the few business leaders who have successfully combined wealth creation with meaningful social impact.
