Former Aviation Minister, Osita Chidoka, alongside his wife, Chidimma, and younger brother, Obinna Chidoka, yesterday, led over 1,000 residents and stakeholders in Obosi in a solidarity walk for the re-election of Governor Chukwuma Soludo during the November 8, 2025, election in Anambra.

Supporters commenced the solidarity walk at Little Wood Estate, Obosi, and moved through major streets, including Nkpor-Obosi Road, Ukwu Udala Junction, Eke Market, Ugamuma and Nkwo Obosi before terminating at the Chidoka family compound.

Addressing supporters, Chidoka praised Governor Soludo for what he described as “transformational leadership rooted in people-oriented governance”. He highlighted the governor’s achievements in road infrastructure, education, health, and youth empowerment as clear reasons why the people of Anambra should support his re-election.

He urged residents to get their voter’s cards ready ahead of the coming election, stressing that continuity will sustain the pace of progress in the state.

“What we are doing here is re-echoing the stance of the Obosi people that have stated that they need four plus four and decided to give their full support to Governor Charles Soludo to complete his second tenure of impactful governance. We have gone round Obosi mobilizing them and encouraging them to come out and vote. Obosi is secured and votes will count so let us make it happen” he said.

Former member that represented Idemili North and South in the Federal House of Representatives, Obinna Chidoka said that all Obosi indigenes across party lines have been asking them, as their political leaders where to pitch their tent as the governorship election draws near but they have now shown them   the road to follow now by organizing the road show for Soludo.
