Chelle to hit mosque, pray Eagles win penalties

• Morocco our biggest test

• Say Eagles will unlock Atlas Lions weakness

Eric Chelle has emphasized the critical need for the Super Eagles to put forth an outstanding effort to secure victory as Nigeria faces Morocco in their 110th AFCON match at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat. The Franco-Mali coach confirmed that the team is fully preparing for the possibility of a penalty shootout in this crucial semi-final.

“We will dissect the weaknesses within the Moroccan national team and exploit them to our advantage,” Chelle asserted. “We may need to let Morocco control the ball and focus on our counterstrikes. They’ve struggled against teams that set up defensively during the tournament.”

Chelle stressed the importance of mental well-being, stating, “Players must momentarily step away from football each day to maintain a strong psychological state.”

He concluded with assurance: “No coach can definitively prepare for penalty kicks, but we’re putting in the work. I will be going to the mosque to pray for our success should it come to that.”
