Head Coach of the Super Eagles, Eric Chelle, has unveiled separate squads for the 2026 Unity Cup mini-tournament in London and next month’s international friendly matches against Poland and Portugal.
Team captain Wilfred Ndidi headlines the squad for the Unity Cup, alongside goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, defenders Bruno Onyemaechi and Igoh Ogbu, and forwards Moses Simon, Akor Adams and Terem Moffi.
The tournament, scheduled for May 26 to 30 at Charlton Athletic’s Valley Stadium in London, will see the Super Eagles face Zimbabwe in the semi-final on Tuesday, May 26. Victory for Nigeria will set up a final clash against either Jamaica or India.
Chelle also handed first-time invitations to goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo, defenders Emmanuel Fernandez, midfielders Raphael Onyedika, Tochukwu Nnadi and Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, as well as forward Rafiu Durosinmi.
A number of Nigeria Premier Football League stars also earned call-ups, including goalkeeper Michael Atata, defenders Elias Ochobi, Chibueze Oputa and Obinna Igboke, alongside midfielders Aderemi Adeoye, Ayobami Junior and Tosin Oyedokun.
For the high-profile friendlies against Poland and Portugal, Chelle recalled several senior stars including Ndidi, Alex Iwobi, goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, defenders Zaidu Sanusi, Calvin Bassey and Semi Ajayi, midfielders Frank Onyeka and Alhassan Yusuf, and forwards Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman and Paul Onuachu.

The three-time African champions, recently drawn alongside Madagascar, Tanzania and Guinea Bissau in the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, will take on Poland at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw on June 3 before travelling to Leiria to face Portugal on June 10.
