Celebrity disc jockey, Florence Otedola aka DJ Cuppy has revealed that American media personality, Charlamagne gave her the first ever DJ job on television.
She made the revelation in a LinkedIn post, after a recent dinner with the famous radio and television personality in New York.
DJ Cuppy disclosed that she used the opportunity of the meeting to present her billionaire father’s new book, Making It Big, to Charlamagne.

She said, “Why do I think Charlamagne is important ? He is just THAT guy. Being black, bold, and blessed in the US isn’t easy but he keeps showing up anyway.
“He’s one of the most influential voices in America and even through the storms and headlines God’s light still shines on him.
“Years ago he gave me my first ever DJ job on TV so being able to hand him my dad’s book this time felt full circle.
“Every time I’m in New York I have to see my friend. Real ones like him remind me that purpose always outlives pressure.
