Champions League playoff: 4 teams qualify for Round of 16

After the first set of play-off games ended on Tuesday night, at least four more clubs advanced to the Champions League last 16.

They are: Club Brugge, Benfica, Bayern Munich, and Feyenoord.

Feyenoord and AC Milan drew 1-1 in the early kickoff at the San Siro. The Dutch club won the opening leg 1-0 at home.

Club Brugge upset Atalanta in Italy, winning 3-1 to advance on a 4-1 aggregate.

Chemsdine Talbi (brace) and Ferran Jutgla scored for the Belgians, who surged up by three goals.

Ademola Lookman equalized shortly after the restart, but the Europa League champions were eliminated after missing a penalty.

Celtic held Bayern Munich to a 1–1 home draw. The Bundesliga champions won the opening leg 2-1 in Scotland.

However, Brendan Rodgers’ side seized the lead at the Allianz Arena, until Alphonso Davies’ late goal sealed the Bavarians’ victory.

Benfica and Monaco fought to a dramatic 3-3 tie, but the Portuguese team advanced to the next round after winning 1-0 in France in the first leg.
