The selection, released today February 26 by UEFA and compiled by its Technical Observer Group, highlights the standout performers across the high-stakes fixtures. Osimhen earned his place after scoring a composed extra-time goal and made some defensive clearance for Galatasaray, a performance that proved pivotal in swinging the tie.
In goal, Jan Oblak of Atlético Madrid was recognised for key saves and an assist via a long kick that led to a goal. The defence featured Davide Zappacosta of Atalanta BC, Odin Bjørtuft of FK Bodø/Glimt, and Edmond Tapsoba of Bayer 04 Leverkusen, who recorded 14 clearances in a clean-sheet performance.
