Premier African music talent competition, Covers Africa, is set to bring spice to the Yuletide

Oganised by Lagos-based CE Production, Covers Africa has been thrilling music enthusiasts for four years. However, this year’s edition tagged: ‘Covers Africa Christmas Special’ promises to be bigger and better, featuring celebrities singing their favourite Christmas songs and other exciting attractions.

According to Charles Emmanuel, Covers Africa’s Team Lead, the show, which will be produced and recorded at a scenic garden in Lagos, would be aired on TV throughout the four weeks of Christmas.

“This year, our plan is to garnish the total experience with more than just rehearsed Yuletide favourite songs, but also with more celebrity appearances, pleasant surprises, fond rehash of childhood memories, and lots more,” he declared.

Other activities line up for Covers Africa Christmas Special 2024 include carols and solo pieces remixed with a modern twist, celebrities singing their favourite Christmas songs, specially designed space for lounge timeouts, and gift items to both physical and virtual audiences.

Celebrities expected at the event are Victory Gbakara, Chima Udoye, Progress, Naomi Mac, Uncle Ben, Hero Daniels, Elozonam, Amakah, Bhen, Akunna, Zadok, Dallies, Yinka Erinle, Precios Mac, and TagBlackie.

“Attendees can now register to reserve seats for themselves at the most anticipated Christmas Special concert holding on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 2B, Wole Olateju Crescent, Lekki Phase 1, before Red Square Event Centre, Lagos,” Emmanuel said.
