Excitement filled the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) in Lagos on Saturday as Red Bull offered Nigerians, especially Lagos residents, an exhilarating Motorsports experience at the 2026 Red Bull Car Park Drift.
Known for its spectacular displays, the event featured tire-squealing, engine-revving, and smoke-filled action, with Red Bull Drift star Abdo Feghali performing live on challenging drift obstacles to the enthusiastic crowd demanding more.
Feghali, a Lebanese driver who started his racing career in 1998, has become a three-time national rally champion and a legendary figure in the Middle East for his drifting skills. He also holds a Guinness World Record for the longest drift in Abu Dhabi in 2013.
In addition to Feghali’s performance, Nigerian motorsport star Jamus Bashar Muhammad, aka Jaybash, showcased his talents. Last year, he made history as the overall winner of the East Africa Drift Championship in Kenya.
Muhammad wowed the audience with his drifting skill, jumping out of his car to applaud the crowd before re-entering the vehicle.
Another memorable moment was when Nigerian rapper Vector, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, joined Feghali as a co-driver during a stunt, adding flair to the event. Bikers also contributed to the lively atmosphere as Red Bull entertained fans with music and a variety of their drinks.
