Adebayo Maoli, a 28-year-old Nigerian man based in Toronto, Canada, has been arrested for allegedly exposing himself to three victims in separate incidents on Toronto’s public transit system.

The suspect was arrested by the Toronto Police Service and is facing one count of sexual assault and two counts of indecent act.

According to the police, the first incident occurred on September 1 at about 3 pm aboard a southbound Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) subway train at King Station.

“The accused exposed himself to two victims onboard a TTC subway car southbound at King Station — the accused exited the train after the security alarm was activated by the victims,” police said.

The second incident occurred on October 3 at approximately 12:10 am at College Station.

Police said Maoli allegedly followed a victim who had alighted from a subway car, boarded an escalator with the victim and exposed himself.

“The victim verbally confronted the accused, who fled the area,” the Toronto Police Service said in a news release.

Maoli was subsequently arrested and scheduled to appear in bail court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on October 9.

The Toronto Police Service said it believes there may be additional victims and urged anyone with information to contact the police or Crime Stoppers anonymously.

The investigation is ongoing.
