CAF has picked Victor Osimhen, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane among 10 players who will shine at the fast approaching 2023 AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire.
The organisers of the tournament described Napoli star striker, Osimhen as the “figurehead of Nigeria’s rich attacking frontline”.
He is in Cote d’Ivoire as the reigning CAF Player of the Year.
This will be his second AFCON after he made his debut at the 2019 tournament in Egypt.
The other players in the CAF Top 10 are Mohammed Kudus (Ghana), Vincent Aboubakar (Cameroon), Sebastien Haller (Cote d’Ivoire), Sehrou Guirassy (Guinea), Mohamed Amoura (Algeria), Azzedine Onuahi (Morocco), Peter Shalulile (Namibia).
