Nigeria’s Super Falcons have been named National Team of the Year at the 2024 CAF Awards.
The nine-time African champions defeated Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses and South Africa’s Banyana Banyana to win the award.
Ibrahim Gusau, President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), accepted the award on behalf of the squad.
Other News
The Super Falcons are presently the continent’s highest-ranked squad.
Meanwhile, Falcons forward Chiamaka Okwuchukwu did not win the Women’s Young Player of the Year title.
Morocco’s Doha El Madani received the prize.
