C/River House of Assembly Passes 6 bills, Resolves 39 Motions in one year

The Cross River State House of Asembly has passed six bills and resolved 39 motions in the past one year.

This was contained in a document sighted by our correspondent in Calabar.

The tenth assembly headed by Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem in the course of the year entertained fourth nine motions all together but resolved 39.

The assembly also entertained twenty one bills and out of which it passed six of them.

Some of the bills passed by the assembly includes the Cross River State Presumptive Tax Bill, 2023 which was presented by member representing Yakurr one state constituency.

Other bills passed by the assembly are the Cross River State Water Supply and Sanitation bill 2024 as well as the Cross River State Appropriation Ammendment Bill, 2023.
