Bayer Leverkusen’s head coach, Xabi Alonso has provided a fresh injury update on Victor Boniface.
Boniface sustained a thigh injury while on international duty last month. The 23-year-old is likely to be sidelined until early 2025.
Alonso is hopeful that the Nigeria international will return to play, although refusing to provide an exact date for the forward’s recovery.
