President Bola Tinubu received the remains of the late Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday ahead of the scheduled burial in Daura, Katsina State.
Buhari’s corpse was taken to Katsina from the United Kingdom, accompanied by Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Present at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Airport to receive the body were President Bola Tinubu, Katsina State Governor Dikko Umar Radda, senior government officials, and members of Buhari’s family.
Former President Muhammadu Buhari died on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in London after a brief illness at the age of 82.
