President Muhammadu Buhari has formally written to the Senate, to approve over N500 billion supplementary budget to fund the 2019 general elections and other sundry national infrastructure.
Specifically, the president is requesting for the sum of N228 billion in the form of supplementary budget and virement.
Security agencies and other government agencies are expected to benefit from the funds.
