President Muhammadu Buhari is right now meeting with the leadership of the two leading parties in the country, the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at the Aso Rock, Abuja.
This is the first of its kind since this administration and it was gathered that the meeting may not be unconnected with efforts to douse the tension in the country.
At the opening of the meeting the president shook hands with members of both parties and made small jokes.
President Buhari has been having one event daily since he returned from London last Saturday after 104 days of seeking medical attention.
