Former President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Edwin Clark, describing his death as a significant loss for the nation.
Buhari hailed Clark as an “iconic statesman,” emphasising his dedication to reform and unwavering commitment to the development of his community and the nation as a whole.

In a statement by his media aide, Garba Shehu, the former President noted that Clark’s contributions have left an indelible mark on Nigeria, and his commitment to unity will be remembered by future generations.
Buhari encouraged the Clark family and the people of the Delta region to uphold and honour Clark’s numerous achievements.
