The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) has announced that its annual BSN Primary School Bible Competition would be held on March 11.
In its fifth edition, the Bible competition is in fulfilment of part of the scriptural organisation’s mission to help people engage with the Word of God to transform their lives. It will also serve as a form of educating the younger generation on matters of scripture. In a statement at the weekend by Benjamin Mordi, manager, media and public relations, the BSN listed the six participating schools for the contest to include New Estate Baptist Nursery and Primary School; Elias International Nursery and Primary School; Angels on Mission School; Good Shepherd School; De Future Hope School and God’s Glory Abides School.

The schools “will present two representatives each and the contestants will answer questions drawn from the CEV Illustrated Children’s Bible.”
The statement said: “The competition, which is designed to inculcate godly values and Christian virtues in the pupils at the early stage of their lives and revive the culture of reading and studying the Bible, will take place at the Salvation Army Auditorium, Onipanu, Lagos. “The Bible Society of Nigeria is a not-for-profit interdenominational Christian organisation that translates the Bible into Nigerian languages, publishes and distributes the scriptures and raises funds for Bible work.”
