The Nigerian Army said it has arrested suspected killer of Major General Mohammed Shuwa, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the force’s 1st Division.
A statement from the Army Spokesman, Colonel Sani Usman, said the suspect who was arrested by the operatives the force’s intelligence arm will be paraded in Kano shortly.
The terse statement pasted on Facebook said: ” The ever hardworking military intelligence have grabbed the suspected killer of Major General Mohammed Shuwa (rtd), Commander 3 Brigade will parade him and brief the press in Kano shortly.”
General Shuwa (rtd) was allegedly murdered in Maiduguri by suspected Boko Haram sect on November 2, 2012.
