Manchester United have been booted out of the Carabao Cup after losing 12-11 on penalties to fourth-division side Grimsby Town.
Bryan Mbeumo flunked his penalty to send United packing in the second round of the competition after the game ended 2-2 in regulation time.

Ruben Amorim’s side had fallen behind 2-0 in the first half before Mbeumo and Harry Maguire restored parity.
