Executives of the two labour centres, the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress have suspended the nationwide warning strike.
The suspension followed a firm commitment from the federal government to reopen negotiations in the national minimum wage tripartite committee, chaired by former minister of housing and urban development, Ama Pepple.
