The Acting Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has officially assumed office as the 22nd Inspector General of Police (IGP).
The former IGP, Usman Baba, officially handed over to Egbetokun earlier on Wednesday, during a Handing/Taking Over Ceremony of the Inspector-General of Police at the Louis Edet House, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
Daily Sun reports that Egbetokun was decorated on Tuesday at the State House by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
