Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has confirmed that more than 30 persons, including nine livestock guards, were killed on Monday by suspected herdsmen in some communities in Logo and Guma local government areas of Benue State.
The update on the number of casualties came after a fact-finding visit to the hospital where the victims were rushed to after the attack.
