Breaking: Coronavirus: Lagos bans religious gathering of 50 people for the next 4 weeks

As part of measures to curtail the spread of the coronavirus pandemic now ravaging the world, the Lagos State government has banned religious meetings in which more than 50 people will participate.

The order was contained in a communiqué issued after a 2-hour meeting with religious leaders at Alausa, Ikeja today.

The governor said the ban will last for four weeks, although there has not been any indication of whether the order takes effect immediately.
