There are reports that bandits have attacked a polling unit at Kuje, in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory(FCT).
The attack was said to have happened at one of the polling units at Gidan Mangoro area of Kuje.
It was not not immediately known weather or not the gunmen who stormed the polling unit kidnapped in their numbers abducted any of the electoral officers.
Their actions was sent to have sent fears to voters who ran for their safety.
But security sources however say the situation has been brought under the control as soldiers were alerted and deployed to the scene.
The FCT commissioner of police Sadik Abubakar, when contacted could not be reached on phone at the time of filing this report.
