The Police have asked the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, and the General Secretary, Emma Ugboaja, to appear at Force Headquarters on September 5, 2024.
The fresh invitation comes just 24 hours after Ajaero acknowledged the Police’s invitation over alleged criminal conspiracy, terrorism financing, treasonable felony, subversion, and cybercrime.

According to online reports, this time, the police summoned the NLC President and General Secretary to face questioning about alleged criminal intimidation, actions likely to disrupt public order, and malicious damage to property.
