The Executive Chairman of Brass Local Government Council, Lucky Febo has reiterated zero tolerance for illicit use of drugs in Brass Local Government Area.
According to him, this is in line with the policy of the Governor Douye Diri-led administration which frowns at drug abuse.
Febo had led a combined team of security agencies to raid black spots in the local government arresting several suspects for drug abuse.
He restated his commitment to combat the scourge, stressing that eradicating the menace is a fundamental policy of his government.
Febo while commending Governor Douye Diri and his deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo for their unwavering advocacy against the illicit use of drugs, said the mass raid in Buo-Ama, Kotikiri, Sangana, Minibie, Bekekiri, and Kongho communities
was part of the strategy to arrest the situation.
