Audu Garba Bosso has been appointed as the 42nd Commissioner of Police in Imo State, taking over from AIG Aboki Danjuma.

In his maiden press address, Bosso pledged to prioritise the safety and security of Imolites, emphasising community-based policing, intelligence-led operations, and a people-friendly approach.
Bosso has tasked his officers to uphold professionalism, integrity, and accountability, warning against corruption, high-handedness, and misconduct.
He assured the public of his commitment to protecting life and property, maintaining peace, and fostering a law-abiding policing culture.
Meanwhile, Governor Hope Uzodinma has expressed support for the new CP, crediting his leadership for improving peace and security in the state.
