Super Eagles forward, Victor Boniface has experienced a substantial decline in his market value in the German Bundesliga.

According to the German tabloid Bild, the latest update from transfermarkt.de for Werder Bremen shows that six players from the team have seen an increase in their market values.

However, Boniface, a promising striker who joined on loan from Bayer Leverkusen, has faced a major downgrade. His market value plummeted from €40 million to €20 million, making him the only Bundesliga player with such a drastic devaluation.

The reasons for this significant drop are clear: injury and fitness issues, along with limited playing time and no goals scored this season, have all contributed to Boniface’s decline.

Just last season, he played a crucial role in helping Leverkusen win the double in 2024 and was previously regarded as the most valuable player in Werder Bremen’s history.
