President of the Ijaw National Congress, Professor Benjamin Okaba has welcome the bombing of terrorists’ enclaves in Sokoto State by the United States government.

In his intervention after the bombing, Okaba said: “If that is the only solution to stop them, then it is good. Terrorists have wreaked havoc on innocent citizens for too long for no good reason. Again, since the Nigerian State has also shown incapacitation and inability to cope with the situation, international intervention in alliance with the Nigerian government is welcomed.

“ISIS was targeted. It was not sporadic and uncoordinated. INC aligned its views with many Nigerians who believe that the international intervention is a necessity. They should even do more. They should take out any terrorist, bandit, and criminal elements, especially those that have taken it upon themselves the duty of killing people on our highways, in their homes. Those actions are barbaric, and they need to be stopped.
