BIGI, Fearless take Soundcity On Tour to 20 campuses

BIGI and Fearless Energy Drink, brands of Rite Foods Limited, have taken Soundcity On Tour 2026 to 20 Nigerian tertiary institutions, delivering music, entertainment, talent discovery and interactive experiences to students across the country.

The tour, which has grown from 10 campuses in 2023 to 20 institutions this year, has visited schools including Pan-Atlantic University, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Yaba College of Technology, University of Lagos, University of Uyo, University of Calabar, Obafemi Awolowo University and University of Ibadan.

The University of Lagos edition attracted more than 5,000 students despite heavy rainfall.

Performances by Qing Madi, Falz, Joeboy, Wande Coal and Mr P of P-Square were complemented by appearances from more than 25 emerging artistes.

Students also participated in the BIGI Music Competition, which offered prizes worth over ₦5 million, including scholarships.

At the University of Ibadan, Niniola, Qing Madi, Kunmie, Kodie and Priesst entertained students alongside rising campus talents.

Speaking on the initiative, Toyin Nnodi, Head of Marketing, Rite Foods Limited, said the brands were focused on creating meaningful experiences for young Nigerians.

“Today’s consumers want brands that understand them and create experiences they can be part of. Through BIGI and Fearless, we are bringing entertainment, creativity and opportunities directly to young Nigerians,” she said. Adedeji Adeniji, Executive Producer of Soundcity On Tour and COO of Group8 Limited, said the tour provides an avenue to discover the unique creativity across Nigerian campuses.

“Every campus has its own identity, sound and community of emerging stars. This tour allows us to discover and celebrate that creativity,” he said.

The next stop on the tour is the University of Port Harcourt, as BIGI and Fearless continue their nationwide engagement with Nigeria’s young and emerging creative community.
