BetKing has launched BetKing TV, a new digital content platform aimed at amplifying conversations around sports, entertainment, and youth culture in Nigeria.
The gaming and entertainment company unveiled the platform at its Lagos headquarters on Thursday, May 7, describing it as part of a broader strategy to strengthen audience engagement through original and culturally relevant content.
BetKing TV, which has debuted on YouTube will feature a lineup of original shows tailored to the interests of Nigerian youths and sports fans.
Among the programmes is Banter FC, a football talk show hosted by former BBNaija housemates Kulture and Denari, offering lively football discussions, humour, and fan-driven debates. Another show, K’s Kourt, hosted by Kaybobo, focuses on multiple sports including basketball, UFC, Formula 1, and tennis. Playing Games, hosted by GigiJasmine and Doris, explores trending conversations, pop culture, and lifestyle topics shaping youth culture online.
Speaking during the launch, Head of Marketing at BetKing Nigeria, Nengi Akinola, said the platform goes beyond entertainment and aims to create authentic conversations that resonate with young audiences.

“BetKing TV is not just about following conversations in sports and entertainment; it’s about actively shaping them by producing relatable and authentic content,” she said.
Also speaking, Managing Director of KingMakers and Chief Executive Officer of BetKing, Gossy Ukanwoke, described the initiative as a reflection of the company’s evolving engagement strategy.
According to him, the platform represents a shift towards storytelling, entertainment, and community participation beyond traditional gaming interactions.
Ukanwoke further disclosed that the company is making significant investments in original content production, talent development, and digital distribution as part of its long-term vision for the platform.
BetKing said the initiative is designed to provide Nigerian voices and perspectives on sports and culture with a stronger digital platform while expanding the country’s growing online content ecosystem.
