President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness over the reported killings, injury of several persons and wanton destruction of property in Guma and Logo Local Government Areas of the state in the new year in Benue.

The President who described the attacks as wicked and callous directed that the killings be halted even as he commiserated with the Governor, Samuel Ortom. He has therefore directed the military and other securityb agencies in the state to end the carnage.
