The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Benue State, Chief Benjamin Omale, has charged his kinsmen from Ohimini Local Government Area to support the reelection of the incumbent state governor, Rev Hyacinth Alia, come the 2027 general elections.
The APC Chairman made this appeal when his kinsmen, led by the Ada’Ohimini, Chief John Ochayi, paid him a solidarity visit in Makurdi, the state capital.
Omale encouraged them to support the governor massively in securing reelection, especially by ensuring everyone in Ohimini LG registers to get their PVCs before the election.
He assured them that re-electing Governor Alia would further the good of the people of Ohimini and the entire state as a whole.
According to him, Governor Alia has instituted good governance, placing Benue State in the landmark of global standards.
He emphasised the need for the entire people of Ohimini LG to ensure Governor Alia gets full support come 2027, saying he is the only befitting candidate for Governor of Benue State.

Omale, who condemned the recent killings in some communities in Ohimini, condoled the people and stressed the need for unity of purpose amongst them, saying nothing is as precious as life.
He briefed them of the peace meeting held in Ohimini between the Fulanis and Ohimini people and also cautioned all youths to desist from any activity that is capable of eroding the harmonious coexistence of the people in the area.
The Chairman extended the Governor’s sincere sympathy to the bereaved families and assured them of continued security support to protect the lives and property of not just Ohimini Local but Benue State at large.
During the solidarity visit, the Ohimini LG Chairman, Mr Gabriel Adole, thanked the people of Ohimini for always standing by him and making sure he succeeds. He expressed displeasure over the recent killings in his local government and promised to do all within his reach to ensure the safety of his people, describing the visit as a strengthener to enable him to do more for the APC family in Benue State.
The Ada’Ohimini, Chief John Ochayi, applauded Governor Hyacinth Alia for finding their son, Chief Omale, worthy to work in the capacity of the APC Chairman of Benue State, and also assured him of their total support.
The traditional ruler acknowledged Omale for all he has done for them and the people of Ohimini and further pledged total loyalty to the administration of Governor Alia and to their son to enable them to continue to make Benue APC and Benue State great.
