Former Abia State governor and Senator representing Abia North senatorial district, Orji Uzor Kalu, has asked members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to steer clear from the matter between him and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu.
Senator Kalu said nobody should assume the position of a judge between him and the deputy speaker of the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, whom he described as his brother.
Senator Kalu said that only him and the deputy Reps speaker can attest to how they started and how they would end, hence nobody should become a judge in their matter.

Addressing a group in a video, the former governor of Abia State also called for unity within the party.
He said: “Let today be a turning point for all of us, unity must prevail in the party. I don’t want anybody to be a judge between the Deputy Speaker and me. We know how we started, and only both of us know how we will end. The president asked me a question about him, I’m saying it openly, I answered in his favour and good.
“The president is alive, and I will tell him in secret what we discussed, so if my brother is running for governor, he is running on his name as my brother. Let there be a transparent election; whoever wins, we will support; if you don’t want us to support, we will go to our houses and sit down.”
