The Team Nigeria women’s Beach Volleyball continued its impressive performance at the ongoing qualifier in Morocco as it zoomed into the final on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Nigerian side finished with a bronze medal in the last African Games in Accra, Ghana.
And the team started the qualifier in Morocco on a good note winning crucial games to reach the later stages of the tournament.
It defeated Rwanda 2-0 on Saturday to reach the semifinal.
The team produced a dominant performance on Sunday to edge Cape Verde 2-0 ( 21-8, 21-15).
The victory means that Nigeria will now face Egypt in the final to contest for the sole ticket allocated to Africa.
