Nine months after Imisi Ayanwale emerged winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, Africa’s biggest reality television show is set to return for its highly anticipated 11th season with a record-breaking ₦160 million grand prize.

The new season premieres on Sunday, July 26, 2026, with the launch show airing from 7 p.m. on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family. Viewers will also be able to follow the 24-hour live broadcast on DStv Channel 198, GOtv Channel 49, as well as via the DStv Stream and GOtv Stream platforms.

The winner of Season 11 will take home the biggest prize in the history of the franchise—a package worth ₦160 million, comprising ₦100 million in cash and a brand-new SUV, raising expectations for what promises to be one of the most competitive editions yet.

Speaking on the new season, Executive Head of Content and Channels, West Africa, MultiChoice, Atinuke Babatunde, said the show would continue its tradition of delivering compelling entertainment while introducing fresh twists and bigger stakes.

“Big Brother Naija has consistently redefined entertainment in Africa by bringing together authentic storytelling, compelling personalities and moments that resonate with millions of viewers. Season 11 builds on that legacy with even bigger stakes, fresh twists and an exciting mix of housemates that will keep audiences engaged from premiere night through to the finale,” she said.

The new season also welcomes a fresh lineup of corporate partners, with betPawa making its debut as the headline sponsor. Guinness returns as the Gold Sponsor, while Minimie joins as an Associate Sponsor, underscoring sustained confidence from leading brands in one of Africa’s most influential entertainment platforms.

Commenting on the partnership, Head of Local Marketing and CSR at betPawa, Borah Omary Ndanyungu, described the collaboration as a strategic fit.

“At betPawa, we believe in creating unforgettable experiences that bring people together through the things they are passionate about. Big Brother Naija is one of Africa’s most celebrated entertainment properties, and we are proud to come on board as Headline Sponsor for Season 11,” he said.

Babatunde also welcomed the new partnerships, noting that the continued support from major brands reflects the enduring appeal and commercial value of the BBNaija franchise.

Since its relaunch in 2017, Big Brother Naija has grown into a cultural phenomenon, producing household names, creating employment opportunities across the creative industry and influencing popular culture across Africa.

Popular media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returns as host for Season 11, with viewers expected to enjoy another exciting edition featuring intriguing housemates, unexpected twists, demanding tasks, strategic gameplay and the drama that has made BBNaija one of Africa’s most-watched reality television franchises.
