Housemates Aikou and Flora have emerged as the first beneficiaries of Big Brother Naija Season 11’s new game twist, The Gambit.
The duo was unveiled during Sunday’s live eviction show after viewers voted to determine one male and one female housemate to assume the special role introduced by Big Brother earlier in the week.
As The Gambits, Aikou and Flora are guaranteed a place in the grand finale of the reality show and will enjoy immunity from eviction throughout the season.

However, the advantage comes with a major sacrifice. Both housemates are no longer eligible to compete for the show’s ₦160 million grand prize, effectively ruling them out of the race to become the overall winner.
Despite losing their chance to win the cash prize, the pair will continue to participate in all house activities, including weekly tasks, sponsored challenges and other in-house engagements until the end of the competition.
The Gambit is a new twist introduced in the “Show Ya Sef” edition of the reality show, with Big Brother describing it as a strategic trade-off between guaranteed longevity in the house and the opportunity to win the grand prize.
