Martins Iyeh has become the first housemate to exit the Big Brother Naija Season 11 reality show after spending two weeks in the competition.
A viewer vote determined Martins’ fate during Sunday night’s live eviction show, making the 30-year-old visual storyteller and model from Kogi State the first housemate to leave the Season 11 competition.
Martins was among the 24 contestants introduced when the 11th season of the reality show premiered on July 26.
The season, themed “Everything Is For The Taking” and also known as “Show Ya Sef,” has a record N160 million prize package at stake, including N100 million in cash and an SUV.
A creative director, visual storyteller and model, Martins entered the competition hoping to showcase his personality and creativity to a wider audience.
During his introduction, he told viewers that his primary aim was to enjoy the experience.
“I came here to have fun,” he said.

Martins also identified basketball as one of his interests and jokingly listed mind-reading among his hidden talents.
During his brief stay in the house, he formed relationships with fellow contestants and participated in conversations and social activities that contributed to the early dynamics of the season.
His birthday was also celebrated in the house shortly after the show’s launch, with fellow housemates organising a special gathering for him. Mercedes entertained him with a performance, while other contestants offered prayers and goodwill messages.
His eviction followed a week in which a large number of housemates were nominated for possible eviction.
Sixteen contestants initially faced the possibility of leaving the show after Head of House Sheba saved Chimsom Chuka, while Aikou and Flora remained protected as the season’s Gambits.
With Martins’ exit, the number of contestants competing for the N160 million prize has been reduced as the remaining housemates continue their pursuit of the Season 11 crown.
