Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala was forced off after collapsing during a pre-season friendly on Tuesday, just three days after he suffered a similar incident against RB Leipzig.
The 23-year-old Germany international fell to the pitch shortly after coming on as a late substitute against second-division side Heidenheim.
Musiala appeared dazed as he received medical attention before being helped from the pitch.
Bayern sporting director Max Eberl said after the match that Musiala would address the incident publicly in the coming days.
“Jamal will speak about this in the near future. We knew about it, and we are aware of the situation,” Eberl said.
“Jamal will speak out. He’s in the dressing room, getting changed and taking a shower.”
Musiala had also required medical attention on Saturday after collapsing during Bayern’s match against RB Leipzig in Munich, where temperatures reportedly exceeded 30°C.
The latest incident comes after a difficult period for the midfielder, who missed the first six months of last season after suffering a broken ankle at the Club World Cup.
He returned during the second half of the campaign and subsequently represented Germany at the 2026 World Cup.
Bayern are now awaiting further clarification from Musiala regarding the two incidents, with Eberl indicating that the player will speak publicly about the situation soon.
