Bayern Munich have dismissed growing speculation linking wingers Luis Diaz and Michael Olise with moves away from the Allianz Arena, with chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen insisting the Bundesliga champions have no intention of breaking up one of Europe’s most formidable attacking units.
Speaking at a press club event in Munich on Tuesday, Dreesen said Bayern had received no approaches for either player despite persistent reports linking Olise with Real Madrid and Diaz with a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League.
The Bayern chief described the transfer rumours as unfounded, stressing that the club’s priority remains building on last season’s success rather than selling key players.
“It’s surprising to see what gets said when you know the truth yourself; it’s interesting,” Dreesen said.
Addressing speculation surrounding France international Olise, Dreesen made it clear that the former Crystal Palace winger would remain in Bavaria next season.
“Obviously,” he said when asked if Olise would stay at Bayern.
The Bayern CEO also dismissed reports of interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
“Zero calls from Real and not a single letter, fax or email either,” he added.
Dreesen offered a similar response when questioned about Colombia international Diaz, who has been linked with a high-profile move to Saudi Arabia.
“The same applies there: no calls, nothing else,” he said.
“We’d be foolish to do so. We have such a good team; let them play and score goals.”
Both Diaz, who joined Bayern in 2025, and Olise, who arrived a year earlier, remain under long-term contracts that run until 2029, reinforcing the club’s determination to retain the pair.
Dreesen also expressed confidence that England captain Harry Kane would extend his stay at Bayern beyond the expiration of his current contract at the end of next season.
“There’s a strong desire (to extend) on both sides. We’ll have to see how that desire aligns,” he said.
Kane, who celebrated his 33rd birthday on Tuesday, enjoyed another prolific campaign last season, scoring 61 goals and providing seven assists in 51 appearances across all competitions as Bayern reclaimed domestic dominance.
With Bayern already ruling out departures for two of their key attacking players and expressing optimism over Kane’s future, the Bundesliga champions appear determined to maintain the core of a squad they believe is capable of challenging for both domestic and European honours in the new season.
