Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has disclosed that he has planned for flood and erosion control agency in his 2023 budget to overcome flooding in the state.
He spoke on Saturday at the 4-day crusade of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, ‘Mgbidi Lagos Experience’ holding at the International Headquarters of the church at Ijesha, Lagos State, he explained that
Theme of the crusade, which has witnessed harvests of miracles, deliverances, healings and Holy Ghost baptisms, is “What God has Determined Shall Be Done”.
Diri said he was at the programme of the church to worship God and appreciate Him for all He has done for Bayelsa State in 2022 and all He will do in 2023.
He also explained that his administration will soon constitute an agency that would do the planning and implementation of the state’s policies on flood and erosion.
“We have budgeted for flood and erosion control agency in our 2023 budget and we are going to constitute that agency that will do the planning and implementation of our policies on flood and erosion. That is the step we have taken so far.”
