He said  that the Command remains committed to ensuring justice in all reported cases.
According to the statement, on February 25, 2026, one Danalami Umar, 45, of Bakin Kasuwa, Burra, reported at the Divisional Police Headquarters in Burra that a 15-year-old teenager had been lured by one Bala Mato, 48, who allegedly committed an unnatural offence against him.

In another incident reported on February 23, 2026, a 30-year-old mother informed the ‘B’ Divisional Police Headquarters that a security guard with Al-Ansar Security Limited, Kamaluddeen Aliyu, 24, allegedly lured two minors aged four and five into a security room at Tsohon Company where he reportedly had unlawful carnal knowledge of them on separate occasions.
Police said both the victims and the suspect were taken to the Police Clinic for medical examination.
The Commissioner of Police subsequently directed that the case be transferred to the Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) Unit for thorough investigation.

According to Habib, the case was reported on February 24, 2026, at about 6:40 pm by Emmanuel Christopher of Dawaki District, Abuja, at the Liman Katagum Division.
The victim alleged that two individuals, identified as Aliyu Yahaya, 23, and one Abdullahi, who is currently at large, conspired to defraud him of ₦3 million under the pretence of negotiating dollars.
The suspects were also accused of intimidating the victim with knives after collecting the money.
