The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has appointed Corps Commander Mohammed Bara’u Bature as the new Sector Commander for Kano State, replacing Corps Commander Umar Matazu Masaudu, now redeployed to Jigawa State.

The announcement came on Monday, May 5, via a statement by CRC Abdullahi Labaran, the Command’s Public Education Officer.

The statement noted, “Corps Commander Mohammed Bara’u Bature has assumed duty as the new Sector Commander for Kano State. Until his redeployment, he served as the Zonal Head of Operations at FRSC Zone RS1 Headquarters in Kaduna.”

Bature, a seasoned officer with extensive operational and administrative experience, is expected to advance FRSC’s mission of safer roads.

Labaran urged Kano’s government, stakeholders, and residents to support Bature’s efforts to enhance road safety and reduce traffic crashes across the state.
