Basketmouth’s ex-wife, Elsie Uzoma Okpocha has debunked a claim that her 12-year marriage to the ace comedian ended over paternity fraud.
She also warned those fabricating lies about her to stay off her children.
Elsie spoke via her Instagram Story on Tuesday.

Her reaction comes after a blog claimed Basketmouth disclosed in an interview that the first child of the union was not biologically his, which caused their split.
Elsie described the claim as “lies” not uttered by her estranged husband, whose real name is Bright Okpocha.
“All you Facebook bloggers fabricating lies, is Basketmouth aware he made that statement? You can make up unimaginable stories about me but please leave my kids out of this nonsense,” she wrote.
The couple parted ways in December 2022, after 12 years of marriage and three children together.
Announcing their split at the time, Basketmouth described it as a “difficult decision”.
