Baby, pregnant mum, 2 others feared dead in Anambra boat mishap

Divers have commenced frantic search for the bodies of four missing victims of boat mishap at the Ogbaru –Ase Azaga axis of the River Niger.
The four were part of 15 passengers and crew that boarded the boat at Ogwuikpere,  Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Eleven of them were rescued afterv the boat capsized and among the missing persons is a seven month old boy, Chigemezi Oponi and a pregnant mother of three, Mrs. Deborah Ukwuenye.
Narrating their face-to-face encounter with death Tuesday,  the manager of the boat, Mr. Charles Ezeka, said the incident happened around six o’clock in the morning shortly after they got to Age Azaga, a border community with Rivers State  when the boat suddenly hit submerged tree stump and somersaulted, and trapping most of the occupants inthe water.
