Vice Chancellor of Babcock University (BU), Ilisan, Ogun State, Prof. Afolarin Ojewole has congratulated Chief Wole Olanipekun, (SAN) and the Principal Partner of Wole Olanipekun & Co on his global recognition in the prestigious Chambers & Partners Global 2026 rankings as a Senior Statesman in Dispute Resolution.
Prof. Ojewole said the recognition reaffirmed Olanipekun’s towering influence and enduring legacy in the legal profession.
According to him, the recognition underscores Chief Olanipekun’s decades-long contribution to jurisprudence, advocacy, and dispute resolution, both within Nigeria and on the international stage. His career has been marked by excellence, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to justice.

The VC said beyond the courtroom, Olanipekun has distinguished himself as a philanthropist par excellence. In 2025, he served as the Commencement Speaker at Babcock University’s Convocation Ceremony, where he was also conferred with an honourary doctorate degree. Demonstrating his dedication to education and the advancement of legal scholarship, he generously donated a Law Auditorium to Babcock University, a landmark facility designed to inspire future generations of lawyers.

He described Olanipekun as one of Nigeria’s most respected legal luminaries, with a career spanning several decades. He is the Principal Partner of Wole Olanipekun & Co., Lagos, a leading law firm renowned for its expertise in dispute resolution, corporate law, and constitutional matters.
Ojewole noted that his contributions to law, education, and philanthropy have earned him national and international acclaim.
