A stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State, Omooba Dotun Babayemi, has described as shocking, the death of the National Vice Chairman (South West) of the PDP, Honourable Olasoji Adaguodo.

According to Babayemi in his condolence message to the family and the party, the passage of the former member of the State House of Assembly was a great loss to the state and country.

“Indeed, the news of the death of Honourable Olasoji Adagunodo, is a great blow not only to us in Osun but to the entire nation, especially the PDP family where he held sway at different levels. On a personal level, I have lost a friend, brother and leader,” he noted.

The former governorship aspirant said the contributions of the deceased who was an erstwhile State Chairman of the party to the nation’s body polity would never be forgotten.

“His contributions on all fronts in Osun, South West and Nigeria as a whole, can never be obliterated on the sands of time. Adagunodo’s memory will forever remain evergreen because he played his part well,” Babayemi stated.

The party chieftain then prayed for the family, the state and the PDP to have the fortitude to bear the loss.
